Transfer to MySpace
Rather than flicking between the blog and myspazz (as Martyn calls it), I'm transferring over to MySpace, which is at:http://www.myspace.com/alexbordessa
and my blog will be at:
http://blog.myspace.com/alexbordessa
Thanks for reading :-)

Do I have to join MySpace in order to read your blog?
I think I can make it so that it's readable by non-myspace. Will check it out :-)
Wil, seem to have fixed it. Have a go and see if you can get through ...
That did it. Thanks!
Ouch, big ouch. I have to get a MySpace account to comment on your blog there, and I'm so not going to join MySpace. Not even with a fake identity.
Gabriele, you should give Myspace a go. It's a bit odd at first but..it does get easier once you get your head around it. My blog on there gets loads more hits than my blogger one ever did. There's all kinds of people on there with loads of different interests so it's not just kids scouting for members of the opposite sex !
Alex - I think it was the right move for me as well. It does make matters easier I think to keep everything in the one place. Readers wise I get lots more and you do get the opportunity to subscribe and be alerted to updates. I don't know whether you've spotted but Sharon J is on Myspace as well now.
Martyn,
I don't like the look of the site and the private information they ask to set up a site there. The whole thing seems too 'young' for me.
And it's on the Blocked List at my nephew's school - that will say something in Germany.
Gabriele,
I didn't want to have to join Myspace either, mostly because it offends my aesthetic sensibilities ;-) - but I did. And if/when you sign up, you can completely fake as much of the personal info as you like...
Wil,
everything except the email, and I don't even want to give that to a site that doesn't block porn spam.
I've tried to register under a fake name in order to reply to Alex' blog, but it doesn't work.
Gabriele,
If you want to comment on MySpace, drop me a line at alex_bordessa @ yahoo.co.uk (don't include the spaces in the addy) and I'll put them on.
Still early days for me in MySpace, but I haven't come across any porn spam. There was a cancelled message, with the note from MySpace saying they'd removed the user, so perhaps that was porn spam?
Someone sent me a 'test message' and since I had no idea who the user was, and there was no info on the user profile, I deleted the message for fear of it being something nasty. However, it wasn't you was it Gabriele? It started with 'get ..' If you give some indication it was you (not necessarily your name, but perhaps a reference to you being German, or the same of one of your novels), I'll accept it next time. Since I've made it very public so you can read, I've got the 'approve' or 'deny' on, otherwise I *will* get unpleasant messages/comments.
Yes, I can read your blog and I do so. So there's a way round not having to register in order to comment? I can see why you have the approve/deny function on; that place looks like it might attract nutcases as well as normal users - more so than Blogger.
That could indeed have been me, I tried to register but it didn't work. Looks like the comment did not vanish in cyberspace then. Of course, I didn't put anything in my profile. :)
Alex, I've moved back to the other "secret" weblog. Let me know if you don't have the url any more (I'm moderating comments on the old one so if you leave an email address I won't publish it), or visit if you do. Please leave your link as it is for now, ta.
How did you transfer your site to MySpace. I have been trying to find out for days now and it is very fusterating. My site is currently on Blogspot.
I haven't transferred my site to MySpace, I've merely stopped posting here, and set up an account at MySpace. And then referred readers to the new site :-)
its nice to read a useful article for beginner like me. Some of points from this article are very helpful for me as I haven’t considered them yet. I would like to say thank you for sharing this cool article. Bookmarked and sharing for friends.
